partnership in expressing deep disappointment at the
recommendation of the House of Commons Agriculture Committee
that thousands of badgers should be killed in the next few

CALL FOR TOUGHER WILDLIFE
LAWS
Warwickshire Wildlife Trust,
along with other environmental organisations, is today calling
for tougher laws to protect our most important wildlife sites.
This call for new legislation will be highlighted when 22
conservation organisations, including The Wildlife Trusts,
present Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott with 250,000
pledges to demonstrate the strength of public opinion in

today celebrating the award of two separate grants from the
Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR),
through its Environmental Action Fund. Each project is being

FROG SPAWN EVERYWHERE
Thanks to the recent warmer
weather, frogs are now busy breeding throughout Warwickshire,
Coventry and Solihull. Warwickshire Wildlife Trust is again
urging people lucky enough to have ponds in their gardens to
leave the frogs and their spawn to develop naturally, rather
