Warwickshire Wildlife Trust begin it's December programme with a Family Tree
Dressing Day at Brandon Marsh Nature Centre on Saturday December 5th.
The event, a celebration of trees and their importance to our lives, is part of
National Tree Dressing Day - a national event organised by the environmental charity
Common Ground Trees all over the country are being "dressed" over the weekend of
the 4th and 5th of December as part of this ancient festival.
Families will "dress" one of the trees at Brandon Marsh Nature Centre, play
"Make a Tree" and make tree decorations to take home to dress a tree of their
choice.
Julia Martin Trust Education Officer said;
"Trees are an important part of our lives and these activities are a wonderful way
of reminding us of this as well as being great fun. Everyone is welcome to come
along."
The event starts at 10.30 am lasts until 12 noon and costs £6.00 per family. Families
