Warwickshire
Wildlife Trust are offering the chance to spend the summer outside in the sunshine (and
the rain) teaching children about wildlife at their new Visitor and Education Centre.
Anyone is welcome to join the Education Team - full training will be given.
Warwickshire Wildlife Trust runs a very successful education programme and works with
5,000 children every year at Brandon Marsh Nature Centre just outside Coventry and 3,000
children at Compton Verney in the Stratford District. People are needed to help with
visiting groups of all ages. You will be given full training and will receive a great deal
of support from other members of the education team.
Sarah Oakley, one of the Trust's Education Officers said
"We are grateful for any time people can spend with us, whether it is once a month
or 5 days a week. It is excellent experience for anyone wishing to pursue a career in
education or the environment".
If you want to volunteer for Warwickshire Wildlife Trust Education Team contact Sarah
Oakley or Sarah Parry on 01203 308977 at Brandon Marsh Nature Centre or Lorraine Clifford
