Passport to Leisure and Learning
 Access to social, community and leisure facilities is a vital element of life
in the city. The number of people holding a Passport to Leisure and Learning card is used
as a sustainability indicator because it allows Coventry people on low incomes to have
discounted access to many leisure and education facilities and activities.
The last year has seen a small increase in
the number of people taking up the Passport. Given the decrease in people receiving
Unemployment and Council Tax Benefits over the same time this could indicate that a
greater proportion of eligible people may now be taking advantage of the scheme.
