The league leaders Nuneaton Borough have no match this weekend
which does not bode well for their rivals for the title.
Borough have a massive nineteen points lead over the chasing pack but in recent weeks
have been suffering from the flu epidemic and various injuries to key players.
The two weeks break has come at the perfect time. Manager Brendan Phillips says:
"We had five players down with the flu and this break will give them the time they
need to get back to full strength. We have also had a few knocks and bumps, which should
heal nicely.
"People tell me that our margin at the top is the biggest ever at this stage of
the season, but I am ignoring that kind of talk. All we are thinking about is our next
game, which is against Salisbury at home.
"There are sixteen matches to go and it is still a long way to the finishing line.
Other clubs have not played as many games so it is all in our hands."
