Borough left it late to rescue their unbeaten home record and
Manager Brendan Phillips will not be happy that two points were let slip against the
mid-table side.
With championship chasing Gresley Rovers and Hastings United getting beaten it was a
glorious chance for Borough to extend their lead at the top of the league.
But while they had the better of the play they could not translate their superiority
into goals and the Boston goalkeeper had few moments of anxiety.
An appalling defensive mix up let in Boston for a 31st minute goal. Barry Williams and
his goalkeeper Rob Wood made a hash of a clearance and Andrew Stanhope was left with an
easy lob into the empty net.
Ian Muir should have scored in the second half but he shot against the goalkeeper after
he was played clean through and it was left to Williams to get the equaliser with eight
minutes to play.
Steve Prindiville took a corner kick and Williams supplied the scoring header.
