A six goal thriller enabled Borough to extend their lead to eight
points at the top of the Premier Division.
Five of the goals came in the second half to send the fans home happy and now Borough
wait to see whether Gresley Rovers and Hastings United, who lead the chasing pack, can win
their gamesin hand.
Borough's goals were scored by Ian Muir and Barry Williams who grabbed two each, but
their No.1 goalkeeper Richard Williams, who was due to make his comeback from a back
injury, had to pull out. Robbie Wood again deputised.
Muir set Borough on the way when he slid home Steve Prindiville's pass.
Midway through the second half Williams extended the lead and Muir made it 3-0 from the
penalty spot when Richie Gardner was brought down.
Borough relaxed then to their cost. David Laws netted a penalty for the Dorset side and
then Mark Boulton narrowed the deficit to one goal, before Williams settled it with his
second goal.
