Nuneaton Borough will go eight points clear at the top of the
Premier Division if they beat fourth from bottom Weymouth at the Manor Park Ground
tomorrow.
Their biggest rivals at the top of the table Hastings and Gresley Rovers are engaged in
the FA Cup, so Nuneaton have a huge incentive to increase their margin.
Borough also get the chance to avenge their own Cup defeat at the hands of Burton
Albion when they travel to play them on Tuesday evening.
Striker Anton Thomas, who has been out for three weeks with a hamstring injury, is
expected to return against Burton if his comeback game in the reserves against Solihull
Borough goes without a hitch.
For the match against Weymouth, goalkeeper Richard Williams returns after the back
injury collected in the Cup tie against Burton. Richard Landon, on loan from Macclesfield
Town, will make his debut in place of Shaun Wray who is suspended after being sent off in
the Burton cup.
