Atherstone United hope their pitch holds up for two important
league matches in three days.
Manager Ron Bradbury, whose side takes on Kings Lynn tomorrow and Salisbury on Monday
says the pitch has soaked up a lot of water in recent weeks and will be a heavy surface.
But he says the matches will have to be played for financial reasons.
"We beat Salisbury 2-0 away earlier in the season, but they were going through a
bad patch at the time. They are now a top five side and will be a different proposition.
"As for Kings Lynn, we definitely need to get something out of them, because we
dont want them to close the gap on us. We need to win all our home games, but we
still have Mark Albrighton, Lee Middleton, Danny Martin and Craig Dean out injured."
