Atherstone Uniteds manager Ron Bradbury has set a survival
target of fifty points for his side to avoid relegation.
Not many would agree that they are even within shouting distance of going down. They
currently lie in eighth place with 41 points, but Bradbury is a cautious man and he
prefers to concentrate on league safety rather than look upwards to the top.
He will be looking for his side to complete the league double over Gresley Rovers.
"I cannot fault the lads," he enthuses. "We have been down to the bare
bones for a couple of weeks through injuries and suspensions, but the tougher the going
gets tough the more they seem to pull out.
"When we get to fifty points it will ensure an 11th successive season in the
Premier Division which is an impressive statistic for a town like Atherstone."
Bradbury is without Craig Dean, who is suspended, plus Luke Vincent, David Hart, Danny
Martin and Gary Redgate, who are all injured.
