Emergency
Work Brings Delays To City Road
Motorists
driving into Coventry are being warned that yet another major road
faces delays because of emergency work to repair an electricity
cable.
Temporary
traffic lights are being installed in Albany Road, Earlsdon
beneath the railway bridge between Broomfield Road and Bedford
Street.
The
work, which is being carried out by ABB Service Solutions on
behalf of East Midlands Electricity, is expected to last for five
days.
Motorists
in the area are being advised to find another route into the city
where possible, but they are reminded that work has also started
today in Holyhead Road at the junction with Barras Lane to improve
facilities for pedestrians.
