Tree Planting at Hope Wood,
Brandon MarshTo commemorate the Society's 90th anniversary year,
a group of five trees was planted in Hope Wood at the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust's
headquarters site at Brandon Marsh, on Saturday 20 March.
The trees were two each of oak and ash and one of field
maple.
The wording of the dedication entered in the Hope Wood Book
of Commemorations, which is maintained be the Trust, was:
"These trees have been planted in the 90th anniversary
year of Coventry & District Natural History & Scientific Society to commemorate
all past, present and future members of the Society."
A small party of Society members assisted with the
planting.
