Robber Threatens Men
In City Centre
A
youth wielding a metre-long piece of wood robbed two Coventry men
in the city centre on Saturday.
The
attack took place in Hales Street at 6.05pm.
The
victims were approached by a man wielding the wood and asking for
money
He
then started swinging the wood near to their faces, forced them
into a corner and stole a mobile phone worth £300, another mobile
worth £40 and a portable CD player worth £100.
The
two men weren't injured.
The
attacker is white, aged about 17, mousy brown hair, 5ft 9ins and
wore a black hat, white or cream jacket with orange lettering on
the chest.

are appealing for anyone with information on the incident to
