Police Re-appeal For
Help After City Road Death
Police
have renewed their appeal for witnesses after a Coventry
pedestrian was killed on a road in the city.
They
are still trying to trace information about the incident at 6.05pm
on Saturday 13 January.
Paul
Fletcher, aged 36, was killed after being in collision with a
Vauxhall Frontera driven by an 19-year-old from Coventry.
The
car was heading out of the city down London Road, when the
accident happened at the junction with Abbey Road.
Mr
Fletcher was taken to Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital with
serious injuries, where he was pronounced dead.
Anyone
who saw the collision, or the Frontera before the crash, should
call traffic police on 024 7653 9847.
