Coventry's
new love affair with ice-skating has spelled good news for John
Neville who has been moved in from Milton Keynes to manage the ice
at the Skydome Arena.
JOHN NEVILLE ON
HIS NEW HOME ICE
Neville,
who has worked with Planet Ice - owners of the Skydome Arena - for
three years, has been promoted to ice manager at the £7 million
arena.
He
has been in charge of the group's rink at Milton Keynes but will now
oversee Planet Ice Coventry.
He
said:
"The
ice skating at the arena has proved very successful and my brief
is to encourage even more people to use what is a fantastic rink.
"That
will include working closely with the council and other bodies to
work on a schools' programme and also to push the lessons we have
on offer at the arena.
"That
has worked well at Milton Keynes and we will be putting many of
the same ideas in practice in Coventry."
Neville
has worked in the industry for 12 years and had spells in America,
Blackburn and Manchester.
