Coventry teenagers are
leading the way when it comes to partying, according to a firm
which runs nights for youngsters in the city.
SkyDome owners Luminar
Leisure host the Club Culture nights tailored for youngsters
aged between 14 and 17, and say the Coventry events are the most
popular in England.
Fridges at the popular
clubs are blacked out for the evening, and alcohol and gaming
machines removed.
Now teenagers in the
city could see themselves on CD-Rom after footage from Ikon
Coventry was selected for use on the 'Club Culture' discs, which
are handed out during the events.
The last event before
Christmas is being held tomorrow, and manager Ian Knight said
that tickets are again being snapped up.
He said:
"The thirst for
these bespoke nights for teenagers in Coventry is greater than
anywhere in the country and despite our 1,800-capacity the
tickets always sell-out.
"One of the
reasons why the Coventry nights have been popular is because
we have always treated the customers to the same standard of
performers as on our regular nights.
"The 24th will be
very popular as it is the last Club Culture until the
Christmas break so anyone interested should contact us
quickly.
"They
can be purchased from the box office at SkyDome for £6 or on
the night subject to any being unsold."
