Eastenders bad guy Dan
Sullivan may not be the flavour of the month on the BBC soap but
later this week he'll be the main man at the Skydome's Ikon
nightclub.
Actor Craig Fairbrass,
who millions of BBC viewers have loved to hate over the last
eight months, will appear at Ikon Superclub this Thursday.
Fairbrass has been
inundated with requests to appear at venues across the country
after holding centre stage in the Eastenders storyline for the
last two months.
However, the actor who
starred alongside Sylvester Stallone in action film Cliffhanger,
asked his agent to try and get him an Ikon date after visiting
the club socially.
SkyDome general manager
Ian Knight revealed that Fairbrass' interest in Ikon came after
he enjoyed a night out in the club during March.
He said:
"Craig Fairbrass
had heard about Ikon and came here on a social basis.
"I know he does
most of his appearances in London and I think he was quite
surprised to see the size and the quality of Ikon.
"He was talking
on the night about the possibility of appearing here
officially and that has now been followed up by his agent.
"We are only too
happy to welcome him along. Over the last few months he has
been the most high profile character in the country's most
watched soap opera.
"Ikon is a big
club and we have always brought the top names from each
industry here for personal appearances - this is no
different."
The Eastenders limelight
has now been taken from Dan by Gianni Di Marco and actor Mark
Bannerman will do the same when he follows Fairbrass to Ikon on
Thursday 27 July.
Both actors will be
available for photographs and autographs as well as answering
questions from Ikon revellers.
