Skaters visiting Coventry’s
SkyDome arena were disappointed today when they were turned away
because the ice was melting.
Technical problems at the
venue meant that dozens of children celebrating the school holidays
were unable to go on the ice.
Sessions during the afternoon
were cancelled as experts battled to solve the problem.
Managers say that they hope to
have the arena opened by tomorrow.
People
planning to visit the SkyDome are advised to ring in advance to check
