The Welshmen could find themselves out in the cold when they play
Lions at Webb Ellis Road.
They might find that the key to their dressing room is lost and that they have to spend
the interval standing outside.
It would only be what they did to Rugby in this match and Lions director of
coaching Geoff Davies was critical of the London sides attitude.
The Welsh retreated to the warmth of their dressing room while the Lions players had to
stand on the touchline in the freezing cold.
As a tactic is worked because Rugby led 7-0 until the 55th minute when the
Welsh finally scored. Andy Gallagher scored Rugbys try in the 15th minute
after a break by Sid Hopkins and Martyn Davies kicked the conversion.
Lennie Woodward responded with a 55th minute try for the Welsh and Andy Lee
added two penalty goals.
