The Lions promised an upset when they led the second placed club
at half-time, but they folded in the face of fierce second half pressure.
Former Leicester 'Tiger' John Liley was in fine kicking form and the Lions find
themselves just two points off the relegation zone.
Rugby's fly half Dean Morgan put them in front at half-time with a drop goal and a
penalty in response to a penalty by Liley.
But the home men had the strong wind at their backs in the second period and Liley
began with a huge 40 metre penalty goal to level the scores.
Worcester clinched their seventh victory of the season with tries by Paul Holford and
Duncan Hughes. Liley converted both and added three more penalties.
