In a surprise move Rugby Lions have signed Tim
Collier from Welsh side Bridgend.
Collier, a former Harlequins lock, played for
Rugby during the last few weeks of last season when Lions won
three games, including great victories over Worcester and London
Welsh.
Over the summer Lions Chief Executive Mal Malik had kept in
contact with Collier who had said he would like to return to
Rugby if he did not settle in Wales.
It is hoped that Collier will be available for Rugby's Tetley
Cup home tie against Harrogate this coming Saturday. The match
starts at 3pm.
