Coventry
Rugby Club makes two changes for the first Allied Dunbar Premiership Two home game of the
new season against Waterloo at Coundon Road.
They play Wayne Kilford at full back in place of Matt Gallagher and Argentinian centre
Luis Criscuolo takes over from Richie Robinson.
Both men were used as substitutes during the defeat at Worcester on the opening day of
the season, but director of coaching Derek Eves said he was operating a rota system and
neither Gallagher nor Robinson had been dropped.
Eves says he is looking for a 15% improvement from the Worcester match and is hopeful
the club can achieve its first victory.
Coventry's team v Waterloo:
Hilfor; McAdem, Criscuolo, Curtis, Smallwood; Gough, Dawson; Sharp, Addleton, Crane,
Fountaine, Whitley, Crofts, Horrobin, Eves
Replacements: Gallagher, Robinson, Wallwork, Morgan, Soden, Edwards, Lloyd.
Coventry have severed their links with the management company which was brought in to
run the club along with Moseley Rugby Club. Sports Management Services was part of the
consortium which bought Coventry Rugby Club from the Receiver.
But Coventry considers the costs of the administration operation offered by Sports
Management Services were too high to bear. New chairman Keith Fairbrother said the club
would have its own accountant and auditors and would run its own affairs.
