It could be a case of commitment versus cash when VS travel to
Weston-Super-Mare.
The home side have been spending big recently, even taking league players on loan and
have had a good run as a result.
Midfielder Ian Scott is running the London marathon so has a good excuse for missing
the match while Darren Beckett is suspended and Chris Evans is out through work
commitments.
That leaves boss Martin Sockett light in midfield but Paul John does return after
missing the 2-0 defeat against Evesham because he went to see the Grand National.
Sockett said:
"We have now won more points than last year which was one of our aims, but we want
to keep pushing on and the players have a sizeable incentive. We are in the semi-finals of
the Midland Floodlit Cup and places are up for grabs.
"Who ever does well on Saturday and again on Wednesday at Cinderford could be in
with a very good shout."
