VS Rugby boss Martin Sockett has told his players that they must
cut out the silly errors that have cost the team dear in recent weeks.
The strugglers lost 3-0 to Blakenhall last week but had enough chances to get something
out of the game. Keeper Mark Ullah was at fault for two of the goals, and he could be
replaced by the returning Robbie Wood, while Ashley Warner missed two gilt-edged chances.
Midfielders Scott Machin and Jamie Lenton are both available after injury and
suspension and may well get the call from Sockett.
He said:
"Solihull are moneybags compared to us. Their aim is promotion and if they win
their games in hand they would be in the second place so they are still in with a very
good shout.
"Silly mistakes have lost us far too many points in recent weeks and we simply
cant afford to keep on making them. We have to be tighter at the back and more
ruthless in front of goal."
