VS Rugby v Moor Green - Preview
[DR MARTEN'S MIDLANDS DIVISION]VS Rugby will be told that they owe the supporters a good
performance before they run out to face Moor Green tomorrow.
Boss Martin Sockett was not satisfied with their last home game they lost 1-0 to
Sutton Coldfield and he is demanding more.
He let his actions underline his words by snapping up two players last night, and both
are expected to figure against the Birmingham side.
Striker Brian Agar has been brought in from fellow strugglers Racing Warwick while
midfielder Steven Coates is a recruit from Rothwell Town.
Sockett is forced to make changes. Keeper Robbie Wood had to come off during the game
against Sutton after picking up a hamstring strain so Mark Ullah will get an outing.
There are also three players suspended. Paul John, Darren Beckett and Danny Green have
one-match bans, although John is injured and could be out for longer.
Sockett said:
"Our last performance simply wasnt acceptable
and I will be expecting a lot, lot more. Our supporters deserve to see a much improved
show from the team and thats what I have demanded."
