VS Rugby boss
Martin Sockett will be looking for his side to carry on where they left off at the weekend
when they take on Shepshed on Boxing Day.
VS couldnt salvage a point last week when they went down 3-2 against Stafford
Rangers, but Sockett was delighted with their second half performance.
He said:
"We were 2-0 down but really made a massive effort and deserved a point. We had
them under so much pressure that they took their two strikers off towards the end in a bid
to keep us out.
"I cant fault the lads at all for their commitment and we even had 22 for
training on Tuesday night which was great.
"Hopefully now we can push on and start to get the results we need. We know we are
better than our position suggests but we have to prove it."
Defender Simon Williams should return after work commitments while Lee Harriman is back
after a knee ligament injury.
