The teams still cannot find a way to beat the other. After
drawing 4-4 on Saturday in the League, this cup tie again ended all square and they have
to meet twice more during November!
This match lacked the drama and goalmouth thrills of the weekend game, but both sides
had their chances.
The goals arrived in the space of three minutes, but separated by the half-time
interval.
Bedworth took the lead in the 44th minute against the run of play. Christy McKenzie
laid the ball into the path of Chris Goodman who took it on into the penalty area before
shooting home.
VS also replied immediately but Scott Machin twice narrowly missed crosses from Jamie
Lenton and Lee Harrison.
They got back on terms within a minute of the restart however when Richard Hamer and
Adam Wardle combined to set up Ashley Warner for the equaliser.
