VS Rugby are in FA Trophy action at Redditch hoping to
repeat an earlier success.
Martin Socketts men saw off the Worcestershire side earlier in the season when
Lee Lavery scored twice but Redditch have done well since and are currently sixth in the
league.
Sockett said:
"I know this is the sort of thing that can rebound on you but I wasnt
that impressed with them when we faced them. They are big and strong and try to stop sides
playing. We didnt allow them to do that and won through on the day.
"I want to see a response from my side. We lost 5-1 at Clevedon and even though we
had eight men out, and all their goals were dubious, I expect more.
"We had two young lads Danny Green and Adam Wardle making their
debuts and when you are not experienced it can be hard when decisions go against you so
often. We were also without several of our experienced players who can keep a team
together."
Keiren Sullivan, Gary Smith, Phil Murphy, Richard Hamer and Ashley Warner should all
return, but Ian Scott, Matt Owen and Connor Hance are all out.
