VS take on local rivals Bedworth in the first of four meetings
between the clubs this month.
Martin Sockett has again added to his squad, by signing experienced striker Scott
Machin from Hinckley United. Machin spent six years at Hinckley and has also had a spell
abroad, but is still in his 20s and is set to start.
Sockett said:
"We are delighted to have signed Scott. He used to play up front alongside Ian
Scott when they were both at Hinckley so that will be useful once Ian is over his injury.
"It is amazing that we meet Bedworth twice in the league and twice in the league
cup in quick succession. We should know each other fairly well by the end of
December!"
Midfielder Gary Smith should return along with defender Kieren Sullivan they
have both been injured and Richard Hamer will be back in defence after his spell in
between the posts.
