Weston-Super-Mare in a Midland Division relegation battle on New Year’s Day.
Graham Withey, a former Coventry City striker, scored in the fourth minute and then
Barry McConnell celebrated his birthday by scoring a hat-trick. Racing’s misery was
complete when their substitute Alex Irvine was sent off just three minutes after being
sent into the action.
