(Racing win 5-4 on aggregate)
Richie Wade scored both Racings goals and though they lost on the night they had
done enough in the first leg to go through to the next round of the cup.
It was not without a battle however. Racings goalkeeper Richard Anstiss was among
the busiest men on the pitch, Rangers hit a post and skipper Rob Burke made a goalline
clearance from Richard Mitchells shot.
But Warwick hung on grimly to the final whistle and a place in the next round. Wade
fired them in front in the 11th minute from Rob Sheedys pass and that
lead stood until the 68th minute when Mitchell equalised.
Wade was on the mark again four minutes later however when Staffords goalkeeper
could only push out a shot from Paul Eden.
Stephen Jones levelled the scores after 74 minutes and though Farrell Kilblane scored a
third with minutes to play, Racing held out.
