Racing Club notched their first win since mid-September by
trouncing a much-weakened Stourbridge side.
Stuart Clarke struck twice in the first half and though Stourbridge pulled a goal back
on the stroke of half-time, Rob Burke settled the issue for Racing after 72 minutes.
Stourbridge were without seven regulars due to injury and suspension and their young
replacements were not strong enough to handle Racing.
Clarke scored twice in a six minute spell and the Stourbridge goalkeeper Danny Howells
then pulled off a string of saves to prevent Brian Agar, Mark Smith and Richard Wade
adding to the score.
Stourbridge hopes were raised when Paul Hunter headed in on the stroke of half-time and
Racing survived a few anxious moments early in the second half before their captain Rob
Burke settled it in the 72nd minute.
