Racing Warwick v Shepshed Dynamo - Preview

Racing Warwick have an immediate chance for revenge this weekend.

Martin Bewell’s side lost 3-2 at home to Shepshed last Saturday – and visit the Leicestershire outfit this weekend.

The game is a re-arranged fixture but Bewell will be looking for a response from his side and the rub of the green.

He said:

"We made some schoolboy errors in the first half on Saturday and it was 2-2 at half time. After the break we were virtually camped in their half but we were caught by a real sucker punch in the final minute of the game when they broke away. I couldn’t believe it.

"In a way it is good to be playing them so quickly afterwards because my players should be doubly keen to put it right."

Centre half Jason Woodley faces a fitness test on a groin problem, which he has been resting in between games. He did some light work with the club physio at training in midweek and could well be fit to play.

"Adam Munday, who Coventry have been looking at, has an ankle injury again and we will have to have a close look at him before I choose the team."

Scouts are still regularly taking a look at Munday, who had a trial with City earlier in the season.
