Bedworth Uniteds manager Billy Hollywood has thrown down
the gauntlet to his infuriating players.
"Let us see if they now have the bottle to pick it up," says Hollywood.
"Our performances in the last three games have been dire. In fact I cant think
of a word harsh enough to describe them. I have been pacing the touchline, pacing my
living room and pacing the bedroom floor wondering why on earth the players have been
performing like this.
"The last three matches have been what you might call local derbies with the
opposition containing several ex-Bedworth players. If you cannot motivate yourself for
games like that, you cannot motivate yourself for anything.
"It has been so disappointing for myself, my assistant manager Mark Harrison, the
directors, supporters and everyone connected with the club."
United lost 0-1 at Sutton, 1-2 at home to Hinckley and 0-2 at Shepshed.
"I dont know whether the players think the season is over now that we are in
a safe position, but that is negative thinking," says Hollywood. "The season is
not over until the last whistle of the last game."
Bedworth are away to Blakenhall tomorrow and Hollywood hopes his players have got his
message.
