Bedworth United might unveil their latest striker Peter Benn at
Stafford Rangers tomorrow.
Manager Billy Hollywood signed him in midweek after watching him in action in local
junior soccer on a Sunday morning.
"Dont ask me who he played for, because I never take any notice of the names
of the teams. He is 24 and has scored a few goals so I signed him."
Hollywood is looking for a big improvement from his team. After a spell in which they
were hitting teams with five goals at a time, they hit a bad patch.
"I was not too happy about our last performance," he says. "We committed
schoolboy howlers in defence, we were feeble in midfield and not as ruthless as we have
been up front. I am hoping we have it out of our system.
Bedworth have Paul Bedder and Paul Corden suspended and Jamie Bunch injured for this
match. United have yet to beat Rangers this season after three attempts. They lost 1-0 at
home, drew in the FA Cup and then lost the replay.
