Bedworth United (2) 5
[DR MARTENS MIDLAND DIVISION]Bloxwich will be glad that this is the last they see of Bedworth
this season.
United trounced them by 5-1 at home the previous Saturday and though manager Billy
Hollywood expressed his anxiety that his side might relax too much and concede defeat, he
need have had no worries.
United took control and led at half-time with a penalty by Lee Darlison and a second
goal from Simon Black.
Bloxwich began brightly in the second half and United cleared off the goalline from a
shot by Lee Knox, but when the home side had a man sent off in the 70th minute
Bedworth cut loose.
Paul Corden went on as a substitute in the 75th minute and scored
Bedworths third goal within sixty seconds. He scored again four minutes later and
Darlison completed the rout with his second penalty of the game in the 81st
minute.
