[DR MARTENS MIDLAND DIVISION]Bedworth’s dream rolls on. After scoring six goals in their
last match they hammered five against Bloxwich to climb above halfway in the table for the
first time this season.
They had the game won by half-time when they led 3-0 but they did not take their foot
off the accelerator and added two more goals in the second half.
They opened up their account in the 12th minute when Jai Stanley and Paul
O’Brien combined to set up the scoring chance for Paul Corden.
Lee Darlison scored a penalty in the 28th minute after Christy McKenzie was
fouled. McKenzie scored the third goal in the 37th minute when he converted a
neat through pass from Stanley.
Two minutes into the second period Stanley scored from Corden’s pass and though
Brian Lee scored for Bloxwich after 62 minutes, McKenzie netted Bedworth’s fifth five
minutes later.
