Bedworth United travel to play Weston-Super-Mare tomorrow unaware
of the clubs future.
The Inland Revenues demand for £36,000 in tax, which is owed from a previous
administration, has placed the future of the famous old football club in jeopardy.
But Manager Billy Hollywood says that the team has to put the off-field problems out of
its mind and concentrate on playing football and collecting points.
He has a strong squad to select from, especially now that goalscoring midfielder Robbie
Beard has returned from his family trip to New Zealand.
He could be a straight replacement for the experienced Johnny Halford who starts a
three match ban for bookings in this match.
"We must leave the financial problems for the chairman and the board of directors
to handle. Our job is playing football," says Hollywood.
