A goalless draw was on the cards in the light of the teams
recent scoring records.
Bedworth had scored only twice in their last four games and Racing had gone five
matches without finding the net.
Uniteds goalkeeper Craig Glover did not have a save to make while Racings
keeper Richard Anstiss had only two shots to save one from his own player.
Warwick had the best chance of the first half but Jason Percival skied the ball from a
good position.
It was not until the 64th minute that either side got a shot on target when
Anstiss made a good save from Paul Bedders drive.
Moments later Matt Hayward almost headed into his own goal but Anstiss touched the ball
over the crossbar. From the corner kick Bedworths Guy Sanders saw an effort blocked
on the goalline. It was to be the last worthwhile effort of a deadlocked game.
