Bedworth made the early running on a pitch resembling a bog and
should have gone in front, but Lee Darlison's 20th minute penalty was saved by Hinckley's
goalkeeper Wayne Starkey.
There were anxious moments for Bedworth later in the first half when Morgan Titterton
headed against their post and Les Hornby shot narrowly wide.
There were few chances in the muddy conditions in the second half. Bedworth's Paul
Corden was almost through but was halted by a last ditch tackle, and then Hornby scooped
over from close range for Hinckley.
But when the final whistle came both sides were glad of one point and a hot bath.
