(Bedworth win 2-1 on aggregate)
Bedworth United maintained their season's jinx over their local rivals by continuing
their unbeaten run against them.
This was their fourth meeting of the season, but VS get another shot at ending the jinx
when they met in the league on Saturday. The sides drew in the league earlier this month
and VS lost the Birmingham Senior Cup tie between the clubs.
The first leg of the Dr Marten's Cup finished 1-1 in Rugby and United completed the job
on their own pitch.
There were chances for either side to win the game but it was settled by John Halford's
ninth minute header from Jai Stanley's cross.
Rugby's best chance came near the end when substitute Justin Wiseman drove deep into
Bedworth's half only to see his final shot come back off the woodwork.
