Bedworth's unbeaten run crumbled in the face of sustained pressure from the
Northern Premier League side.
They were a goal down in the first 32 seconds. A throw in on the left was headed into
the penalty area where Andy Toman steered the ball home from a dozen yards.
The seasiders made it 2-0 after 11 minutes when Logan and Hodgson combined before the
ball was delivered into the penalty area for Robinson to plant his header past goalkeeper
Craig Glover.
Glover then had to make three important saves as United were forced back by waves of
attacks. Bedworth cracked again on the half-hour when a slick Whitby move left
Chillingsworth a simple goal from six yards.
United's task became impossible in first half stoppage time when Christy McKenzie was
sent off for an off the ball incident.
But the ten men were in more determined mood after the break and Paul Corden and Robbie
Beard had chances to score.
But the last goal of the game went to Whitby in the last minute when Toman scored his
second.
