Bedworth face another long trip to play Whitby Town in the FA
Trophy tomorrow. But they travel in good heart to the Yorkshire coast to play the Northern
Premier League side.
The coach leaves at 8 a.m. which means many Bedworth players will be up at 6 a.m. to
get to the pick up point, and then they face a tiring journey home after the match.
But manager Billy Hollywood says:
"It is a long trip but we are confident after our recent run of results."
Bedworth are unbeaten in their last nine games and have scored nineteen goals in the
last six.
Whitby are a tough proposition but United know that if they are on their game they can
achieve a result, maybe after a replay on their own ground at The Oval.
Hollywood meanwhile has been getting some tips on Whitby from an old friend - Jim
Platt, the former Middlesbrough and Northern Ireland goalkeeper.
"I have had a couple of telephone conversations with Jim and he has wised me up on
one or two things which might help us," says Hollywood.
Meanwhile United resume their saga with VS Rugby next week. The clubs have meet three
times already this season and on Tuesday they clash again in the second leg of the Dr
Marten's Cup. Then on Saturday they play each other in the league.
