Bedworth United stunned the league leaders with a brilliant
second half performance to win a seven goals thriller.
United who have clawed back their season after a disastrous start were no one's
favourites for this match, but they produced a magnificent show in a match in which three
players - one from Bedworth, were sent off.
Bedworth put the leaders on notice by scoring first when Robbie Beard fired in Paul
O'Brien's pass. But the home side got their noses in front by half time with goals from
Paul McLoughlin and Tony Cook.
The game appeared to be beyond Bedworth nine minutes into the second half when Cook
made it 3-1 for the home side. But United pulled a goal back from the penalty spot thanks
to Lee Darlison and then the same player equalised with a curling long range shot.
Bedworth's Jai Stanley and Clevedon's Marco Micciche and Neal Reeves were shown red
cards and then five minutes from time Christy McKenzie teed up the winner for Beard.
Bedworth United: Glover, Brown, Darlison, O'Brien, Bedder, Halford, Stanley, Beard,
