Striker Robbie Beard has forced his way back into Bedworth's side by plundering a hat-trick in the reserves.

Beard has served a suspension and was selected for the reserves to keep him match fit. He showed there was no doubt about that by scoring three goals in the 5-1 win over Tipton.

Manager Billy Hollywood would only say:

"He could find himself in the squad to play Racing Warwick."

But the manager is virtually certain to include him.

Hollywood will wait on two players until the last moment. Paul O'Brien has been nursing a hamstring strain and Guy Saunders has been confined to bed with a flu bug, so the manager will give them as much recovery time as possible before naming his side.
