[DR MARTEN'S LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION]Uniteds manager Ron Bradbury was pleased with the point
against the bottom placed club, because he had to field a much weakened side through
injuries.
He now hopes for an equally strong battling performance against Gresley Rovers on
Monday.
The match at Bromsgrove was marked by the return to his old club as head coach of Steve
Daley, the former Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder.
His arrival sparked Rovers into a lively performance despite having a player sent off
for a second bookable offence after only 14 minutes.
Uniteds goalkeeper Dale Belford was forced into a top class save and
Uniteds inexperienced line up had its back to the wall. They finally pushed back the
home team in the final quarter of the match and were pushing hard for a winner when the
final whistle came.
