Atherstone United are looking to bounce back from their midweek
Dr Marten Cup defeat by Burton Albion.
Manager Ron Bradbury said:
"We lost the cup tie because we conceded two goals in eight minutes in the first
half. In the second half we played superbly, one of the best performances we have given in
a long time, but we could only score the one goal."
United take on Crawley Town at Sheepy Road under no illusions at the nature of the task
facing them.
"Crawley are a top four side and with Boston United are probably Nuneatons
biggest challenger for the championship," said Bradbury.
"We picked up a couple of minor injuries to players against Burton, but they
should be okay to play. I am also waiting to hear about Richard Barratt. He played for
Cambridge against Arsenal Reserves in the week, but has a slight stomach upset.
"Crawley have striker Ben Abbey in their side who played for Reading Reserves in
the week. They ran us ragged last year and we know we face a tough battle."
