United restart their season with a tough home match against Merthyr Tydfil and a string of
injuries to key players.
United did not play last weekend because they had no FA Cup match and manager Ron
Bradbury was hoping that his injury list would have shortened in the intervening period.
But Gary Redgate, David Hart, John Berks and Craig Dean are still major doubts.
Redgate will take a late fitness check on his injured hamstring muscle and could make
it, but Hart and Berks have already been ruled out. Dean was added to the casualty list
when he fell from some scaffolding at his work place and bruised his back.
Bradbury will have to reshuffle his side to plug the gaps. Meantime he has signed two
young players Kevin Elvin and Luke Vincent who performed well in United's reserve side in
the week.
