Coventry Crusaders have arranged an extra friendly game this weekend to keep in shape following the team’s exit from the National Trophy.

They will be playing Division One outfit Birmingham at the Coventry Sports Centre on Saturday following the Quality Cats’ game.

Crusaders boss Dip Donaldson said:

"It is ideal to play Birmingham since we are both going to be at loose ends on Saturday.

“They are nice and close so it won’t be any expense to them to come over.

"It is a bonus weekend for basketball supporters in Coventry, because the ticket price is being slashed to just £2 for the night.

“So whether you make it to one or both of the Coventry basketball games this Saturday, you only pay £2.”
