Another French Tall Guy For The CrusadersAlong
with recent announcements about new arrivals Derrick Pope, Matt Donaldson and Karim
Houari, Coventry Crusaders have added one more to the list of new recruits - 6' 8"
Frenchman Pierre Bonneau.
Twenty-eight year old Bonneau will add to the strength and
height inside the key area. He is a strong role player who has experience at National One

With his added height, he will give the Crusaders that
additional edge which always gives the offense an advantage.
Pierre comes highly recommended as a hard worker with a
great love and passion for the game, and will add to the formidable line-up which the
Crusaders are forming over the summer.
He will be working with the Crusader Foundation, as a
development coach teaching basketball in school and in the community.
Pierre will be coming to Coventry in time to start training
with the team in August.
Dip Donaldson who is the owner and of the Coventry based
basketball club says:
"I am anticipating a successful season, and am doing
all I can in order for that to come about, by combining a very strong side. Pierre will be
aiding to our success with their contributions and that will help in our campaign to
finish back at the top of the league again this year.
"I am really excited about the potential the Crusaders
team has for the 1999-2000 season. It will be a great show all the way!"
